A further testimony of the healing virtue is that of a dear schoolteacher who was wonderfully healed whilst Principal Jeffreys was preaching. This took place in Hull as far back as 1922. Some years previously this sister had met with a very serious accident, in which the base of the skull was fractured, and concussion of the brain resulted. A small bone was broken in the head, which had punctured the drum of the left ear, rendering her stone deaf. One doctor stated that nothing less than a miracle could possibly restore the hearing. As a consequence of the accident this sister experienced severe pains in the head. It was during one of the special meetings held in Hull in
1922 that God wrought this marvelous deliverance. Without a single hand being laid upon her she was instantaneously and completely healed. She adds, “The Lord gave me a new ear.” The Divine life filled her whole being with an unutterable glory.
