One evening an old gentleman, dragging his right foot and with his hand hanging helpless by his side, called, asking for prayers. Perceiving that he “had faith to be healed” Mr. Dudley and I anointed him in the name of the Lord and prayed with him. He began praising God for the healing, and arose, leaping for joy. He went out of the house like a
bounding youth, filled with the life of Jesus. The next day he went at his carpenter work, climbing about and using his saw and hammer as well as ever. We have never seen or heard from him since.
